I LOVE the carriages! The kids loved this early version of baseball. They played it every chance they got!
The lady spinning yarn had a nice crowd gathered until this lady showed up riding sidesaddle.
All of the street actors do such a great job!
Standing in front of the jail Blackbeard’s crew was in. He was killed before so he never stayed there.
The British take the city! Yikes! This guy looks a little familiar…. I think his twin is a British soldier. (see photo immediately before)
He gathered up some of the kids to be his new recruits. General Lafayette rides out to review the troops and give a pep talk.
Left Wheel formation… they are doing pretty good!! Look at them stand at attention.
Ready, aim, fire!! Walk a bit more, ready, aim, fire again! repeat, repeat.
Looks a little more authentic like this though. Then the canons were fired. Boom! My kids wondered where the canon ball went.
